Eagle Eyes (Forest Hills Grid 18)

Could we please get people to send emails through TampaGov.net to the mayor's office, requesting that the school traffic issues be addressed? Getting flashing lights installed on Linebaugh to facilitate safe crossing for students during school intake & dismissal times should tremendously slow down the traffic, as well as possibly curtail red-light runners.

This issue barely edges out the traffic  in front of Forest Hills Elementary as a priority, where parents speed, drive carelessly, and park (yes, park) in the middle of Ola (not to mention on private homeowners' property) to escort their children into the school. This second issue affects safety of all pedestrians, as well as impeding traffic flow.

Could we get some feedback on this, please? This section is designed for feedback; let's get some dialogue going!

for one thing call the police on this .  i was at the roll call last saturday and they said they they can't help if U don't call and tell them what is going on.  i live in grid 10 ,but have a family house for sale in ur gfrid . so there for i am also interested in whats going on over there.

   the police r there to help ,all u have to do is call them.

You have a good point.  The police are there for us, and we should call them every time we see a dangerous situation like this &/or when we see ANYTHING SUSPICIOUS.

I don't have a monetary investment in your grid, but the grid line is imaginary. We are all the same neighborhood; what affects your grid affects ours, and vice versa. Linebaugh is just a dividing street.

I've called TPD and had them out there for traffic control, we just need to keep calling and calling and calling.. well.. let's start before school starts next year since there's six days of school left at this point! But yes.. i'd like to get a 'task force' together regarding this issue before the start of school next year
