VIGILANCE IS THE ANSWER
Keep valuables which are in your car out of sight.
Keep your doors & windows -- both to your house and your car ---- LOCKED
Make yourself visable around the outside of your house.
Keep that "lived-in look" to your house when you aren't home.
Keep your property well lighted.
Watch out for suspicious activity, and REPORT it to TPD.
