This morning (July 5th), a few minutes past midnight, some residents of the 9300 block of Dartmouth returned home from an evening out to discover they had been cleaned out. Two days prior, a residence in the 9500 block of Dartmouth had their alarm system go off a few minutes past noon. Of course nobody saw anything . . .
Sounds like the bad guys are casing for an opportunity. When they case, and nobody calls TPD, they come back. When you see something out of the ordinary, CALL THE POLICE. Keep a watch out of your windows to be sure nobody suspicious is lurking at the house across the street, next door or in your front yard. You'd want someone to watch out for YOUR home ----------- RIGHT??
Teamwork. Teamwork. Teamwork.
Be sure you exchange contact numbers with your neighbors. Then use them. With teamwork, we can keep the criminals at bay. When they know we're all watching out for each other, they go elsewhere.
Don't just assume the guy next door's dog is barking at an opossum -- CHECK IT OUT! Or better still, call the guy next door to ask if everything is OK.
231-6130. Keep it handy to place that suspicious circumstances call to TPD.
