This ought to be a great event to attend. There will be door prizes, refreshments, etc., and it would be $10 to a good cause ($15 on the day of the race). If you need entry forms, contact the web master or your block leader -- the web master can print them out for you.
In cooperation with the City of Tampa and in memory of the fallen officers the men and women of the Tampa Police Department are proud to present and dedicate the 15th Annual Tampa Police Memorial 5K/1Mile Walk to Corporal Michael J. Roberts.
This year’s event will be held at Lykes Gaslight Park in front of police headquarters. We have continued chip timing for the 5K event only. Awards for the sworn law enforcement and active military divisions are available in the 5K event only. We have continued the award for the most participation in the Neighborwatch Program. Please join Tampa Mayor Pam Iorio, Tampa Police Chief Stephen Hogue, and several hundred men and women from law enforcement and military for the guaranteed fun event.
