The TPD cruisers on Ola @ Patbur around 7pm were engaged in a routine traffic stop (for windows that were tinted too dark) that turned into a driver with license issues, plus one of the passengers was in possession of methamphetemines. The teen-aged ocupants do not live in the immediate neighborhood.
This brings up a point: have you noticed increased presence in the area oer the past few months? Residents within our grid are reporting seeing more traffic stops for infractions (window tinting too heavy, speeding, non-use of turn signals) since May, 2009. This is good for our neighborhood; we had been the forgotten district for far too long.
