On the agenda for today's county commission meeting is a proposal set forth by 2 commissioners to use the vacant and soon-to-become-vacant office space at Floriland Mall as a homeless shelter. There are a number of problems with that idea, not the least of which is its affect on our neighborhood.
If you have strong feelings about this, you need to call or email the entire board of county commissioners about this issue; don't delay. You can email them as follows:
