For those of you interested in participating in Mobile Patrol but have not yet received the certification to do so, there will be a certification class at TPD District 2 Headquarters (located on 30th Street at the corner of Annie Street, across fro the Busch Gardens Employee Entrance) on December 15, 2009 @ 7pm.
The class takes right at one hour to fill out forms (one is permission for TPD to perform a background check on you) and be oriented as to the project. If we had a few more people to participate, we could get some more frequent patrols going within our grid. We HAVE TO HAVE at least 2 people to patrol together for safety reasons.
