Anybody who is interested in attending a workshop put on by the Hillsborough County Cooperative Extension Service on how to make a rain barrel (you receive a free rain barrel after the workshop is completed) please contact Aquarius9721@VERIZON.net. When I get a minimum of 10 people that will commit to attending, I will schedule the workshop to be held in our neighborhood. Please indicate which weekday evening would be preferable to you, and include your name and a method of contact.
These classes are offered at the Cooperative Extensive Services office in Seffner one Saturday per month, but they fill up WAY in advance. Spring water restrictions are going to be upon us before you know it – you don’t want to be watching your plants and grass wilt, wishing in April that you had a rain barrel already!
