The victim came home to find a bicycle laying near her front door. Concerned that there may be someone in her house she called the police and waited outside. to the front. As she checked the front door the Def suddenly pulled the door open and then retreated back inside. Additional units arrived and Ofc Thornton located a broken kitchen window at the rear of the house. Under the window was a back pack. A perimeter was established by Henry, Kilo and ROC units. Air Service and K-9 "York" and his driver (Officer Beckers) responded. While waiting for the K-9 Unit, officers observed the Def inside the kitchen. The defendant was apprehended without incident. The Def's bicycle was seized for forfeiture.
