There have been several burglaries or attempted burglaries in our grid in the past week, particularly along Floriland and Patbur. Burglaries in general are WAY up, especially this week.
Please keep your eyes and ears attuned to anything out of the ordinary. periodically look out the windows to see what's going on. Step outside at non-predictable times and let your presence be seen -- that helps keep criminal activity down.
If it looks suspicious, it probably needs to be reported to the police. Their non emergency # is 231-6130. That's what they're there for; don't hesitate to call them.
