We're looking for a few folks to serve as block leaders. Mainly what we need help with is distribuing meeting announcements or other NHW info to the folks in your block. It takes one person over 3 hours to get these announcements to every house in this grid (that's about 300 houses) and that's a lot of time. One block can be covered in about 20 minutes. At the same time, you get to know your neighbors and maybe discuss neighborhood happenings. I never finished getting all of the announcements distributed for tomorrow night's meeting, because I kept running into folks who wanted to talk and ask questions about the Crime Watch group. Somebody who was only covering one block wouldn't have that problem.
