Babe Zaharias 100th Anniversary Celebration This Saturday 11am - 6pm

 Babe Zaharias 100th Anniversary celebration over in Forest Hills at the Babe Zaharias Golf Course. The event is this Saturday, June 25, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the golf course. Mayor Buckhorn and several council members, including Councilwoman Montelione, will be on hand for the 1:30 p.m. proclamation ceremony, and a concert will follow later that afternoon. The event should be a lot of fun!

In addition to supporting our Forest Hills Community, come out and meet our new councilwoman and mayor!

I am not at all into golf, but I plan to attend this event, because it is about supporting our community. Forest Hills evolved around the golf course; it is part of our heritage.
