On Wednesday, July 6th at approximately 9:30pm, 3 older teenaged males were knocking on doors of houses on Hidden Oaks which had no interior lights on, thereby giving the appearance that nobody was home. When confronted, one of the 3 males, who had been crouched down behind the resident's automobile, said they were "playing a game" but then all 3 ran off southbound on Hidden Oaks. TPD investigated. One of the 3 males was black, one appeared to be Hispanic.
Be alert, and CALL TPD if anything similar happens to you. Don't assume it is innocent fun for bored teenagers. We can't aford to be complacent.
It's NOT a game.
