Yard Waste Processing Facilities |
The separation of yard waste from other solid waste is mandatory. If you live in a single family home, your yard waste will be collected curbside once a week. Please visit Online Services for more information on curbside collection and details such as service area, residential service assessment, days and hours of service. If the branches are too big, you have a large amount of residential yard waste to dispose of or if you are a commercial customer, you can also bring your yard waste to one of our three yard waste processing facilities. Please visit our Facility Locations and Phone Numbers page if you need the addresses, contact information and hours of operation. NOTE: Make sure you bring your Hillsborough County Property Tax Bill and a picture I.D. with you. Any customers without a current Property Tax Bill will be considered as a Commercial Customer. Yard and wood waste received at all three Processing Facilities is size-reduced with a tub grinder by a private contractor. The size-reduced yard waste is windrowed, and recycled as mulch, soil amendment or fuel by the same private contractor. If you have questions about the recycling process or need more information about availability of recycled material, please contact the vendor directly at: Consolidated Resource Recovery |
