Getting reports of some guy going door to door wearing an orange golf shirt, posing a techie rep for a home security company to install a chip on your home security box, blah, blah. This guy is very PUSHY and doesn't tke rejection well. When asked for a busines card he denies having one.
There is a city ordinence against soliciting. You can call and report anyone who is soliciting, and TPD will instruct them to leave the area. Please esecially call when someone like this man in the orange shirt come by; TPD will run a background check then make him leave the neighborhood.
In fact . . . please call ANY TIME you have suspicion about someone who is walking the streets in your neighborhood and report them to the police as a "suspicious person". Let TPD check them out. If they are legitimate, they won't mind talking to police.
