Do any of the homeowners still have issues with the Open Space behind their homes or along side? Have the dead trees and shrubs been replaced, or are they still there creating an eye sore? If you do, I ask that you please list your issue and the location here.
I have sent two emails to the board's new email address and have not receive a response from either of them. The second email included pictures, however I do not know how to attach pictures to the discussion postings. At the board meeting it was stated that they cannot know of all of the issues. Only if the board is aware of an issue, can they attempt to fix it. The newsletter that we received in May stated that the board was hoping to have the dead trees replaced in the next few weeks. In the 2+ months since then, have any been replaced? I have dead shrubs behind my property.
In my original two emails to the board I offered my assistance in contacting Nichols regarding the dead trees and shrubs. I even sent this directly to Andrea's personal email account. In the past month I have not receive a response to my concern or an acceptance/denial of my offer to help out. It was said at our meeting that people have ideas but do not follow up. Well, I offered my help but it was not accepted. I am now posting my issue to the board so that they are aware of it. I would like to ask other homeowners to post any issues that they have with the Open Space and for the Board to take care of these issues. Here is my issue:
''I understand that the removal of dead trees and such in the common areas is the responsibility of Nichols (or possibly Ryan and Handler), not the HOA. From what I understood at the community meeting, Nichols has been contacted in reference to this issue, but they have been very non-responsive. The newsletter that we received in May also said that the replacement was expected in the next few weeks, it has now been two months. I only have one, possibly two, dead shrubs in my common area, although the shrubs that are planted are half behind my home, half behind my neighbor's home. The remaining half of land behind our homes has nothing planted. One of the shrubs is also planted about 6 inches out of line with the rest of the shrubs. It may even be on my property, I'm not sure.''
