Columbus was founded in 1828. Eagle Point is a blend of older homes, 10-15 years old, and new homes, 0-5 years old. Residents of Eagle Point are diverse in culture, background and careers. These residents work together to keep their neighborhood safe, clean and friendly.
A neighborhood association is a group of community members who organize to enhance the quality of life of their neighborhood. The only requirement is that all residents be invited to be a member.
• Dues are voluntary (We have agreed on $5 per month, per family)
• Expenditures will be voted on and accounted for
• We have no legal authority
• We create our own newsletters and bylaws
Please note that your block captain will come by to collect the dues of $5 per family on the 15th of each month. Again this is voluntary! You will be given a receipt for your dues and all funds will be deposited into the Eagle Point Neighborhood Association account at CB&T. We will attach a spreadsheet to the monthly newsletter listing all families who participated in paying dues as well as any purchases voted on and made during the month. It will also list our account balance. Please join us in making positive changes in our neighborhood!
