Eagles Cove is a young, one-hundred home community nestled among established residential areas and commercial enterprises. New homeowners have access to major highways, churches, shopping centers, restaurants and entertainment, yet enjoy the quiet and beautifully-landscaped streets of Eagles Cove. Their neighbors work proudly and with pleasure to maintain their homes. Visitors are complimentary about the results.
The community is family living at its finest. There are several cul-de-sacs where young children can play safely. With just two entrances/exits, the traffic flow is minimal. The homes have large back yards for the kids and just-right front yards for the landscaper. Friends meet as they pass each other on their strolls via the neighborhood sidewalks.
Eagles Cove homeowners respect each others' privacy, but are always willing to help. Vacationers may need a lawn maintained. The out-of-towners' home may need a quick check. UPS delivery picked up and held for a few days. newly-arrived neighbor visited by the Association with a fruit basket welcome gift. Eagles Cove neighbors will be there to help.
Eagles Cove was originally a property owned by Kentucky Lumber. In late 1989, the land was purchased and developed by Profumo Realty. By 1992, the Bank of Louisville acquired Eagles Cove. Kentucky Lumber re-acquired the property in May, 1993.
H. L. Docks Inc, a branch of the Bank of Louisville, created the original CCR for Eagles Cove subdivision. It was filed with Jefferson County and recorded in Deed Book 5927, pages 911-925.
Homeowners in Eagles Cove began meeting in mid-1995 to form an association to attend to the needs of the community. Maintenance of streets and street lights, snow removal and landscaping were priorities. By-laws were established so that any homeowner would have an opportunity to participate in the association and be informed about its actions. The association was incorporated November, 1997.
