Mission Statement:

“To build a community where opportunity for growth is abound and unity is embraced. Through youth intervention, housing revitalization and the empowerment of the residents and the responsibility and accountability for the way that we live and prosper together.”

Vision:

Revitalizing the community first
The organizations vision is to rebuild the eastside of Wilmington through community intervention

The organization will lead the community with programs that assist with rebuilding the community, strengthening families, and building outside relationships with other organizations

Our Mission and vision will be accomplished when families, the organization, and other community agencies think of the community first

The organization will focus on community activities, redevelopment of our specified (targeted) area of Wilmington, youth truancy and curfews, and strengthening families.

Key Objectives:

The primary goals of the organization are:

To promote community awareness through progressive involvement
Provide safe neighborhoods
Rebuild the community for economic growth

The Eastside Renaissance, Inc. was born out of a community meeting put together by the Knoble Players.

Eastside Renaissance works with Knoble Players and the Youth Outreach through the University of Delaware to impact the community in a positive way.
Bi-weekly meetings are held at People's Settlement Association at 6:30 p.m. to discuss issues, concerns, and to share success stories about the community.
