Formed in 1997-98 to get help with flooding

The Eastwood Homeowners Association was formed as a result of constant flooding of homes along the Vinemont Channel near Peavy road. We formed the association including Gateway at that time because they were bounded by the channel.

2001 Board approved addition of Rustic CIrcle and Sylvania.

The Board approved the addition of the Rustic Circle and remainder of Sylvania to help that part of our area. And Four homes on Lake Highlands Drive were added. And in 2006, Lake Gardens Drive was added to the boundaries of EHA and has become an active part of the association.

Easter Egg Hunt, July 4th Parade & Picnic

Our association has tried to keep enough activities going to have our neighbors get acquainted and to meet newcomers as they move in. The activities have been well attended and we feel they are a valuable part of our association. All are welcome to attend.

The purpose of this association shall be to preserve, protect and advance the interests of the neighborhood in which its members reside, to disseminate information of interest to those residents, and to promote fellowship among its members.
