I don't expect taxes to increase due to this new business development.  In fact, new development can mean an increased tax base for our community, which could even mean LOWER taxes (okay, sure, almost never happens, but it could...)

According to the site plans and other things I have heard, I think the plan is to expand Egypt Road to be four lanes up to Brower Ave (i.e. right by the post office).  I believe Audubon Land Development has been buying the homes on the south side of Egypt Road with the intention of making space for this road expansion.  There is also some road work planned for Black Rock Road near these developments, too.

I find it funny that someone is waiting for the Pizzera Uno to open. The pizza at Oaks Deli is way better.

Key with Pizzeria Uno is that it is "Chicago Style".

I lived in Chicago before moving out here for college.  I miss "Chicago Style" pizza! (Uno's isnt' perfect Chicago-style pizza, but it's close)

Hi John!  I check into the Oaks Neighbors site often and always look forward to the information that you post; very informative!  Well...the earth moving is well underway and we've haven't heard from you in about a month.  I see the sign that Wawa and Wendy's will be opening in the Fall of 2013.  Do you have any more info about additional tennants?  Also, did I see that our beloved Oaks Gardens is relocating (not out of business)? Please continue to share any info you might have!
