Hi, everyone:
A number of residents have said they think I could contribute to the covenants committee and have asked me to run for a seat. If I can help restore the health of the HOA by doing so, then I?’m happy to contribute as I can. While HOA law is not my usual legal practice area, I?’ve had some exposure to the most pressing issues facing our organization, and I think I can best contribute in two ways:
1. I?’m good at legal research and can find things out more quickly and accurately than most people; and
2. I?’m objective. I have no interest in the factions and personal conflicts that seem to have too much influence on our situation today. I just want the organization to work properly and to protect our lifestyle, property values and water supply without unnecessary interference into residents' lives or choices.
I?’ll be at the 5/24 meeting and hope to see, or meet, many of you there.
