I had decided to stay out of the discussion on our mayoral contest in our city.  Both candidates are good friends.  One is my very good next-door neighbor; I can't believe he goes along with some of these tactics.  I worked very closely with Mayor Odom-Groh on the Neighborhood Block Watch.  I have seen him do good things for Bellemeade.  Steve is an intelligent and competent young man.  Both seem qualified in some way. But several things are turning this campaign into a mockery.

Unless I have missed something, one side seems to have pitted old against young.  I am 73.  Check

That little game of "pushing an opposing post off the page" really turns me off.  No, that is not right; it infuriates me. You also pushed equally important things like the Neighborhood Watch off the page too.  Checkmate.

My vote has to be earned, not clamored for.  Even in the face of all of this, my household is still weighing the facts, but you're drowning them out with the noise.  Game over.....???

I agree 100%.  The safety of our neighborhood is very important.

I just can't believe how offended neighbors are by someone trying to get the word

out that there is another candidate for the mayor position.  Don't they want to be

informed voters?

Seems some people don't even want to get to know the "write in" or even give him

a chance. Sad.

While Mayor Odom-Groh has done good things, he's also done some not so nice neighborly things.

But you have a very good objective. Well said
