I myself have been waken in the wee hours of the morning with the ratatat of automatic weapons fire in the neighborhood. When will we address this dangerous situation? Or are we going to wait till someone gets killed!

I Hear You !!

I hear you and I think we all agree on this. We have been instructed by our beat officers to make sure and call this incidents in to 911. The way it was explained to us, officers can hear these, but would not be able to tell where it's coming from. If they have 1 or more people call, it will be easier to pin point where it's coming from. I you actually have specific information and know where it's coming from, please call our Lead Police Officer - his number is under the ''Beat 56'' page under ''Police and Safety''. As an additional note, our Beat officers have been attending our association meetings and they make notes of everything we comment to them. We have already began to see improvements on some issues that we have brought up to them.
