i am new to tucson. i find it strange that when i travel the north side of town it is so bright at night with all the lighting but when i come home to the south side of town, it is pitch black with maybe one light every 6 block. does the city and county feel that just because we live in the south we dont need the safety of lighting for our protection. i wont even let my children out after 7:30 at night because it is so dark here you cant see anything.
