Does anyone agree with me that the entrance into Emerald Mountain and the upkeep of the other entrance (subdivision) areas is falling way short of what our HOA dues should be paying for?  Also, I think those tacky wreaths should NOT be hung on the beautiful stone wall, it is such an eye soar! If they are going to be hung, then they should at least be taken down immediately after the holiday!

i personally never cared, but yeah, my wife has a fit everytime she sees those wreaths, so they must be tacky.

some of the new trees were placed WAY too close to the road. this means they will block the road or the roots will damge the road in the future. I think they were magnolia trees between the tennis courts and the entrance.

but this is what happens when we change landscapers every other month because someone was a lower bidder and has more illegals working for them while the white guy just sits in the truck and watches them work.

I have been trying to give the benefit of the doubt to the people taking care of the solar panel lights that light up the individual signs, but it has been over a month and the sign into Poplar Grove has yet to be fixed. I would love it if someone would figure out what the problem is. As far as the entrance, they probably left them up for spring since they do have the spring look. They are getting a little color washed from the sun. I am just thankful to have a very nice entrance compared to just the wood sign that the residents on the other road has.

i guess ultimately most of it is volunteer work (well, the landscaping isnt, but someone has to deal with finding landscapers, paying them, etc) and thats something I havent the time to do nor the desire.

So as long as someone else in the neighborhood is willing to take that role, rock on I say :)
