Hello Neighbors, is it just me or do you see many homeowners who keep their trash can in front of their garage? Homeowners Please read your covenants that is a violation and we are paying $300 a year dues to not enforce the covenants. That's so not cool. Let's all do our part and follow the rules. The homeowners Assoc. Committee need to monitor our community monthly and contact and start a fine for the violators too! What's the point of having a Homeowners Committee Board if they do not enforce the Covenants? Exactly, it's no point. We are just giving away $300 a year for nothing. That's not fair. A strong homeowners Assoc. can help us all maintrain our property value. Our homes are an investment and who knows when one day you may decide to sale your home. Let's keep our community clean and beautiful. Homeowners-Enclave At Gross Lake

Some people need to get a strong grip on reality, we are not living in an apartments, I along with other homeowners pay a mortgage each month. Not to be told what I can and cannot do in home. If you are mad about paying your due then don't pay them, join the other half that don't. The way I figure with the economy the way it is, with the fact that people are loosing there homes everyday, it won't be long before this association along with many run out of money. Stay in your own home and mind your own business that is the best way to keep our community clean and beautiful. |

Hi, Sir. The reality is all that you've stated; however, the reality includes all with which you seem to disagree. Yes, we need a strong homeowners association(s). We also need an ACCOUNTABLE homeowners associations(s). Some of us have 2 associations which we must keep accountable. Dues must be paid but we must know what our dues are doing. I don't know if any of us know all the uses to which our dues go. I sure don't. I know we elect boards of directors. Do you believe these boards are ACCOUNTABLE to us? I'm not ALWAYS sure. How about you? Instead of fighting over dues--a fight we cannot win--we should be making sure of what is being done with our dues. I am tired of hearing we don't have the money, yet, the board of directors (Enclave at Gross Lake) are imposing ASSESSMENTS. How about clearing the delinquencies FIRST? WHY PENALIZE THOSE WHO ARE ALREADY PAYING AS REQUIRED??? My neighbors, those should be our real concerns.

I agree. It's not really as much of an issue that we have to pay HOA fees or even about how much. What really matters is that we hold everyone involved accountable for what they say they are actually going to do with the money. So if they say they are going to build a fence then we should check'em a see to it that it is done, if they say they are using it for the pool then let see that through as well and raise hell if they don't honor their words and commitments. |
