Just wanted to give a shout-out and many thanks to the 11 volunteers that helped this past Saturday to spruce-up the entrances.  Also for all the pre-lim work that Ed & Rosie did the week before.  In all, we filled 16 lawn bags and a truckload of weeds, etc.  It took 4 truckloads of mulch to do both entrances, both sides.  We found out why the trees were dead/dying in the first entrance.  When M/I had them planted, they never took off the wire cages from the root balls.  Therefore all the roots that grew just got cut going through the wire.  We hope to be able to plant new trees or shrubs in the fall, depending on whether the homeowners pay their dues.  It takes money to make improvements.
