Is it true that the cameras were purchased through a friend of one of the board members and that bids were not sought?

As long as the prices were fair, who cares who did the sale or install...

Nepotism: is the showing of favoritism toward relatives and friends, based upon that relationship, rather than on an objective evaluation of ability.

But, with an MBA, i guess it does not matter
