Regular Meeting Minutes
July 17, 2006

President C. Sidebottom called the meeting to order at 7:37pm.

Corrections to May Minutes. The new Zone 1 director & Maintenance chair is Lynn Frazier, not Glen Frazier. Paul Markwell was not absent but Proxy.

Treasurer?’s Report ?– Presented by Randa Murray
?• See attached dues delinquency report.
?• Income was $13,159.91; Expenses were $3,772.84; Account Balance is $83,518.30.
?• Liens will be placed on all homes that have not paid their annual dues by November 1, 2006.
Architectural Control Committee
?• 8003 Harrodwood ?–request for privacy panels. Approved.
?• 8316 Huntsman ?–request for garage. Awaiting full plans/layout.
?• 7406 Singletree ?–still waiting on plans for shed and dog run.
?• Contact your Zone Director with any plans, so that it may be presented to the Board.
Maintenance Committee
?• Lynn Frazier has removed the shrubs at the front entrance and replaced them with begonias.
?• The new flags have been put up and the old ones given to the Girl Scouts.
?• Rocks were repaired in the median on Stone Brook.
?• The Glaser entrance signs have been repaired. Several rocks from the top ledge had been knocked off.
?• The trimming of a tree, which is blocking drivers?’ view along Beulah Church, will be looked into. James Peden will be contacted. It is believed to be on state property.
Old Business
?• The website is now up and running. Monthly minutes are available on the site, http://www.neighborhoodlink.com/louisville/farmgatehoa/main.html. Minutes may also be emailed to you. Contact Anne Ray at annesray@insightbb.com.
?• Mailboxes: Only 1 remaining metal mailbox to be installed.
?• ID Junk Pickup will be November 13 or 20.
?• Neighborhood directory is still being discussed. Possible sponsorship by realtors.
?• Zone 1 Director is Lynn Frazier and Zone 6 Director is Cindy Simpson.
?• Zone 9 Director?’s position is still vacant. Please attend next meeting if interested.
New Business
?• Signs placed at the entrances to remind homeowners of the upcoming meetings were discussed. Cathie Sidebottom will look into the cost.
?• ID customers need to place their cans out properly with the handle towards your house and 3 ft away from other objects to prevent the driver from getting out of the truck to correct it.
?• The President?’s position will be vacated. It is an At Large Position, meaning that any homeowner in good standing may fill it. Free homeowners dues come with the position.
?• It was discussed what will be covered at the Annual Meeting.
?• Contact your Zone Director if you would like something addressed at the Annual Meeting.

?• Gene Byrd for his many dedicated years of service to Farmgate as President, Zone Director, and Maintenance Committee Chair.
?• Rose House for all of the hours she spent coordinating over 200 mailbox installations.
?• Larry Nalley for passing out Zone 6?’s minutes while their director?’s position was vacant.

REMINDERS
?• IF YOU PLAN TO MAKE ANY IMPROVEMENTS OR ADDITIONS TO YOUR PROPERTY, CONTACT YOUR ZONE DIRECTOR, PRIOR TO BEGINNING THE PROJECT.
?• KEEP YOUR DOG ON A LEASH AND RESPECT OTHERS PROPERTY BY CLEANING UP.
?• IF YOU NOTICE A STREET LIGHT PROBLEM, CALL LG&E @ 589-3500.
?• U.S. Mail delivery problems should be communicated to Connie @ 239-0110.
