Hello Neighbors!

Summer is officially here now...School kids are out playing, water sprinklers are going, vacations...lots of activities.

There are several things we all need to keep in mind:

• Children are out playing and riding in the streets, so be watchful. Especially around the park.
• Daytime burglaries generally are on the rise in the Summer months. Please be aware of strangers checking out our neighborhood.
• Car burglaries also on the rise....don't keep anything in your cars if you park outside. And park under some light.
• Abide by our city's watering restrictions for sprinklers-only water between 6PM and 10AM.
• Take care of you pets in this heat...they need shade and water to beat the heat.
• If you leave town, put some lights and a radio on a timer. Stop your mail and newspapers. No need to advertise that you're not home. Keep curtains and drapes closed-burglars love to 'window shop'
