Hello neighbors!
Holidays are over and we're into a new year! So far, the weather has been mild. But be ready for anything..this is Texas. It's a good idea to check your batteries in flashlights, windows and doors for drafts, and have plenty of candles. Remember last February the ice storm knocked out power for some folks in Arlington. And speaking of cold weather, please take care of your pets in cold weather. Most of our loved pets are not acclimated to extremely cold weather. Make sure they are inside and warm. If you know of any animals left outside in extreme cold, please call Animal Services at 817 459-5898.
We will try to have another neighborhood picnic in the Spring. Last year's was fun and well attended.
If you have any opinions, good or bad, about the 'traffic calming' changes on Norwood, please email Lana Wolff at Lana.Wolff@arlingtontx.gov. This might be done in other neighborhoods. Get the email addresses from the City of Arlington website. That can be found on Pages and Links.
Happy 2012
