During 2011, the Tri-Alliance Board authorized up to 140 hours per month of paid police patrols. This was more than our membership level would arithmetically allow.  However, it was deemed that extra funds in the bank could be used to supplement the expenditures.

By the end of 2011, two things have happened.  We have exhausted our surplus and membership has declined due to home sales and non-renewals.  Therefore it was necessary for the stability of the organization, that the patrol authorization be reduced to 100 hours per month.  We can't borrow or print money like the government.  If we can't pay our bills out of cash flow, we will go out of business.

The paid police patrols can arquably be credited helping to keep criminals, crimes, antisocial behaviors, and disorderly conduct of out the neighborhoods in 2011.  One only needs to look at the crime incident maps to see where no patrols equates to more crimes.

It is vital that everyone that is concerned about not becoming a victim of crime help by joining Tri-Alliance Security Patrol as a supporting member.  Please.
