i'm interested in how many homes experienced basement flooding as a result of the recent rain.  it's clear that the soil became super-saturated, and many of us must have exteme amouts of clay in our property, leading to water choosing the path of least resistance, the deep well, so, most of the water actually came from below, with only a little of the flooding a result of the direct rainfall into the well from above.  what will be  your solutions be to remove this threat?
