Does anyone else believe we have too many buses running through our neighborhood? My wife and I live on Locust Street and Hhave SIXTY buses a day pass our front door. What compounds this problem is that since the four way stops were installed, the buses ROAR away from the stop signs with unbelievable sound levels. Not only are they obnoxiously loud, they are also FILTHY. They billow black nasty soot that sticks to our homes. We feel that this extensive bus traffic should not be running through a residential neighborhood. we also feel that this a form of noise and air pollution that residents of Old Norhteast should not be subjected to.

Dear David,
Yes, over the years many complaints have been registered about the buses.
To date, the NSNA has been unable to have the routes changed.
If you e-mail me directly I can give you the name of a man on your street who is equally upset about the frequency, etc., of the buses on Locust. You might also contact your City Council rep., Kathleen Ford; the Council has a PSTA
representative.
We need concerned neighbors like yourself to get involved in NSNA to help correct community problems.
