Majority does not rule in NSNA

Thirty something people voted to remove Lange. It sounds as though many of those thirty something showed up at the June meeting with the intention to oust Lange. They were succesful.

Will Goetz stuck to his guns and did not allow a friendly amendment requested and encouraged by four other board members. The friendly amendment would have allowed the entire membership a chance to voice their openion. Geotz was not required in any way to agree with these other board members. He is certainly allowed his own openion. That decision is completly his right.

What would have been the risk to allow the entire association achance to vote? In my openion, due to the fact that Lange acknowledges (before the vote) that he had the necessary signitures to call a special meeting, Geotz did not want to give everyone in NSNA a chance to vote for fear that he may be in the manority.

Lange already has more signitures to keep him in office than the thirty something that voted him out.

Majority does not rule in NSNA.

If the membership affirms the voting of Lange out at the special meeting, than at least the entire membership will have had a chance to voice thier openion.

To do this the way it was done, does not look well for NSNA.

The 4th of July must not mean much to some people around here.

Petitions are only as good as the person soliciting the signature!! They really mean nothing other than the person getting the signatures has too much time on their hands and we don't know how many people refused to sign it now do we?? Steve came into the meeting with several new memberships....now do these people really know what is going on since they just became members and have never attended a meeting. Think about it and listen to your peers who witnessed his behavior. For all you people that were not there, Steve began the meeting by attacking Arlene about the tape of the board meeting. He kept ranting and raving saying, ''I told you to DESTROY THE TAPE'' now who was attacking who??

If you feel so strongly about something, why don't you have the courage of your conviction to state your name?

Show some respect

The petition is the onle vote these people have been allowed thus far.

Show enough respect to wait to pass judgement on the people that signed the petion after they have spoken at the special meeting and/or voted in favor (or against) keeping Lange as president of NSNA.

The way you are acting is too defensive. You are all but admitting that the board has done something wrong!
