Thanks for bringing this up. I read the article to and it would be really bad for the Old Northeast to hear the noise. I have lived in areas where air traffic noise has been a problem and it is enough to drive you crazy. And whatever way the runways are set up doesn't matter because the takeoffs and landings come from all angles depnding on wind and other weather conditions. I hope the board can find somebody to follow this and keep on top of it and then poll the membership if the idea progresses.
This kind of noise pollution can really ruin the nice quiet feel of a neighborhood.
