Steve please stop ridiculing people for posting anonymous since you do it yourself. Check out ''Location tells it all'' go to ''Blocked board members'' by ''North of 13th'' you gave yourself away.
Also, you say the board was stacked with the likes of Cynthia Serra. I was talking with her the night you personally took her arm, rather rudely I might add, and swooped her off in the corner to talk about her taking the board position. When she returned to our conversation she told me you had asked her to take the open board position. Now this hardly sounds like the board was stacked by a small group of people unless you were one of those people.
I don't expect you will answer this posting since you know this is true and you have made several comments to the contrary.
Also, please answer one question for me. Why did you and your wife fight so hard against Discount Auto Parts at the end of 15th Ave North yet you were willing to let CVS in without a second thought? Oh, disregard that question ''location tells it all'' doesn't it?? Don't you live on 15th Ave North?? Oh, we wouldn't want unsightly oil stains in the parking lot of a business we have to drive by to get home would we.

Discount Auto

There were 15 to 20 people on the NDR Committee who worked on the Discount Auto store. WE ALL worked hard, with the city's help (Jan Norsop among others) to make Discount Auto realize that they had to comply with our NDR ordinance. They preferred to build in yellow and black and would not bend. So they went over to 9th Street N. and built their ugly box. End of story.

once again!!!!

I didn't ask you what happened in the Discount Auto scenario. I am quite aware of the outcome and who fought for it. I asked, why the change of heart with CVS?? And may I remind you that your postcard was in full support of CVS before NDR became involved. You can't fool most people!! Last count it was about 25 or 30.

Discount Auto Again

Try to follow along.

CVS agreed from the get go to follow NDR and every other document which applied to their project. They stated this from the beginning.

Discount Auto said, from the beginning of their process, that they did not think NDR controlled them and they were not going to comply.

We worked hard to convince Discount Auto that they had to comply in some meaningful way. They refused and went elsewhere.

End of story. Got it?

As for CVS coming in. I can't wait. Am looking forward to shopping there. See you in aisle three.
