Tuesday afternoon as I stopped by my home to have a quick lunch I noticed several dark tire tracks on 4th street. I remember wondering where the tracks had come from. It wasn?’t until that evening when going on a bike ride did I realize that 17th avenue north had been paved from 1st to 4th street. I ride that street often and never thought it in need of repair. I have to admit that I have missed several of the neighborhood meetings so I don?’t know if there was anything I could have done. But it does make me sad to loose another small piece of history that makes our neighborhood unique.
