BAY CREST HISTORY

Posted in: Bay Crest Park
Who knows anything about the history of Bay Crest?? I know the first houses north of B.C. Drive were built in the late 50's but who was the builder of the subdivision and when were the various sections completed?? Any help appreciated.

Long-Time Residents

Rick, I can't tell you much, but here are the names and phone numbers of two residents who have been here for a long time:

Charles Polansky, 886-1150
John Rogers, 884-0905

Mr. Polansky helped form the civic association, which is now 40 years in existence, and Mr. Rogers has lived here since about 1963.

A couple of months ago, I was asked to write a history of Bay Crest, which I did.  I turned it over to Juli Milas, our current Association president, and when it is assembled, will be available in the new Town 'N Country Commons library.  There is a bit of information on some of the builders is in the history, but apparently a number of builders were involved.
