SWEEP will come thru Forest Hills the week of March 17th - 21st. For a list if iems they will take from the curbside go to the following link:

The city has hired more code enforcement inspectors. They are already trained and on-the-job; once SWEEP week has past, count on there being citations issued for code violations. They are giving us all a chance to clean up and utilize the yearly SWEEP Pick-Up to dispose of brush trimmings, carport/shed/backyard clutter, etc. They don't care if your lawn is thick and lush, but your yard and right-of-ways must be neat and maintained free of clutter/litter, and your landscaping not overgrown.
DO NOT place old furniture at the curbside, other than over the weekend for free take, unless you have called for a special pick-up from the city. The regular garbage pick-ups on Mondays & Wednesdays will NOT pick up this debris, and you run the risk of being fined.
