Hi all!
This is my first time posting here, and I am wondering why with the wonderful neighbors, voice alert, newsletter, and now website we have for our neighborhood there is no place designated for helping us reunite lost pets with their families.
I live on San Cristobal and with Ash Creek behind me, I have found many dogs who have been lost at the lake and made their way up the creek bed. They come not only from Forest Hills, but Little Forest Hills, Lakewood, the Peninsula, and occasionally Casa View.
Currently I am housing a lovely lab who has been with me for 2 days and nights. The day I found him, I also found a Border-collie mix. She had tags with a number, and was returned to her parents. I thought, in fact that the two were together, but alas; they must have met on the run!
Could use help finding the owner of this one, if anyone knows someone who's missing one.
Please make sure your pets are wearing I.D. tags!! It really helps if they accidentally wander.
