Forest Meadows Neighborhood Association

Five gunshots were fired Friday night from the area of the park by the apartments. Police were called. While waiting, we observed numerous cars of young people parking along Meadowknoll. Many were carrying beer in hand, walking up the block to a house near Abrams. Multiple police came, blocked off streets, invaded the area with flashlights, and made arrests. Even a helicopter flew in in pursuit of someone between Meadowknoll and Forest Meadow Jr. High. It is time for us to all pay close attention and call this activity in. Record license plate numbers and report them to us. I can find out if these kids are attending the high school. It would help us all to identify these people. If you heard the gunfire, fill out an affidavit and send it to Marion Drake ASAP.
