On Sunday, June 3, at 8:00 am., a rattly
old 1981 faded grey chev suburban with
black trim entered our neighborhood from Whitehurst and turned left on Millridge. About 10 minutes later, this
same truck exited the Arborhill alley
(east end) and proceeded slowly south on
Arbor Park. The driver was accompanied
by a white woman with dirty blonde/brown
hair. Several minutes later, they returned northbound on Arbor Park and
reentered the Arborhill alley. I went to the back to see where they were and
noticed them parked in the middle of the
alley. I returned after calling 911 with the license number and yelled at them to get out of our neighborhood. The woman scrambled out of the back seat, the man quickly came around the truck, fastening his pants and took off like a bat out of hell. The woman disappeared into the creek ( I had again
ran to get help and did not see her leave). This made me furious that these
people would do their thing in the middle of the alley in broad daylight. Any car leaving home through the alley
would have been blocked and would have
witnessed the same thing we did. The man was black, stocky, 5'8 or so and about 180lbs. I have seen the same prostitute in several cars at the park and on Audelia. Officer Lopez came, made a police report and traced the tag number to a man in Richardson. He then said he could do absolutely nothing about anything since he had not witnessed the incident. He said he would report the incident to Anita. Because the truck exited the alley with
the prostitute, I believe he picked her
up at the apts. Why else would he have
turned into our alley. He could havejust
headed to the park (her usual place) down Arborhill or Timberleaf. Other neighbors report seeing this same suburban at other times. I also have noticed a dark green Escort in our alley
on numerous occasions, including 6:am
one Sunday morning,and parked in the alley halfway down the alley during weekdays,etc. The tags to
this car are registered to a Rowlett
address. The occupants are two black males. If someone has seen this car or
knows this car to belong to residents,
please let me know. Also, I would like
to know the number where I can call the
apts to register a complaint about the
mattress in the tree (in front of the apts, near the duck park).
Nothing seems to have improved since the
day we went to court. I have yet to see an armed guard when I travel down
Timberleaf,exiting the neighborhood. And I travel that street many times daily.
