Tonight, January 3rd there was a shooting at the Timberleaf Townhomes. To the best of my knowledge this is what happened. In the first apartment on the left as you would be travelling west on Timberleaf, a tenant arrived home to find 3 people ransacking his apartment. The robbers shot him 3 times in the stomach and set his apartment on fire. He managed to get out of the front door to his phone and call 911. The police, careflight & fire trucks were called to the scene. The man was care flighted to Baylor hospital and was still alive at the time of transport. Channel 11 was there and reported the incident. It was on the 6 pm news and is to be on at 10 pm tonight.
I had just spoken with the City Attorney about 30 minutes before this occurred so I immediately called him so he could catch this happening on the news.
