For unknown reasons someone has decided to begin playing really loud music around 10:00pm until 2:00am. This happens on and off during the year but I've decided to investigate who is doing this and put a stop to it (via the police).
The street is Ballantine Street and the music is coming from the south of our house. On foot I investigated all the way down to the school. The music is coming from somewhere other than the neighborhood up to that point. It could be coming from a club on Telephone road or even as far away as Pearland although tonight (Friday 2/26/2016) I can actually hear someone singing reggie. Anyone who knows who these people are is urged to call the police. Loud noises are supposed to stop in and around neighborhoods by 10:00pm. If the sound carries further than 10ft away from the structure it is being produced in - then it is in violation of City of Houston ordinances and should be reported. Fines can be as high as $10,000.00 for playing loud noises after 10:00pm and before 10:00am.
Again, just call the Houston Police (NOT 911) at 713-884-3131 and give them the details of where this music is coming from. So far, I have managed to get three clubs closed (at the corner of Telephone Road and Fuqua) just by calling. Let's get rid of these jerks who don't care about us needing to get a good night's sleep.
