Assoc. receives Mayor's Matching Neighborhood Grant, Oct. 2001

Ft Caroline Club Estates South Civic Association, Inc. was selected by the City to receive one of the Mayor's Matching Neighborhood Grants in the amount of $4200. Selection was made in Sept 2001. The Association signed the contract in Oct. 2001.

The grant will be used for the installation of a neighborhood entry sign for Fort Caroline Club Estates along Rogero Road (near Lenczyk Drive) at its southern entry point. If money and time permit, an additional entry sign will be located on Ft Caroline Road near Cherokee Villa Drive at the community's eastern entrance.

The entry signs will bring "neighborhood identity" to all of Ft Caroline Club Estates, a community developed by Adolph and Lonnie Wurn, Leon Felhandler, Attorney Lenczyk, and other associates during the 1960's.
