Please report to the police Department and to the store Mngrs. EVERY TIME you experience panhandlers in our neighborhoods...... It is illegal to panhandle in ''OUR'' City.

Panhandlers

I have been approached more at the McDonalds and at CVS than anywhere else, but must admit that I don't shop the area all that much. Wonder if we could/should send a neighborhood letter to both those companies about how we feel. They should be running the panhandlers off the property or calling the police to do it.

Sending letters re: Panhandlers

I think sending a letter to ALL the businesses in the Oakland Corners area and beyond, maybe Edgewood to Ayers.

I don't know if it would be possible, but it would be more powerful if WMNA, Eastside Sector Alliance and the East F.W. Bussiness Assc. could create a letter to send to each business and let them know that we are asking for their cooperation and will back them if they help us. Also send a copy of the letters to the Police Department and let them be aware.

This way it will be know that there are many eyes watching. We can make a difference if we all work together. It is possible to clean it up!
