I know there are MANY, MANY questions that people have regarding the drilling processes. Our portion of East Fort Worth is so lucky to be in the position that we are at this stage of the game. In such a short time there is so much history and none of it looks good. Everyone is looking more at their wallet instead of the health, safety and enviromental concerns. We have no idea what is going to be in the news today, tomorrow or over time.

All I can say as far as signing or not signing. Anyone who is looking more at the dollar vs all of the other negitive issues and concerns, I would rather see East Fort Worth residents sign a lease that has been put together that favors the neighborhood and protects us in every possible manner as known to us today. The Greater Meadowbrook Gas Lease Task Force or the Neighborhood Associations are not and can not say sign or not to sign, everyone has that right to sell/lease their minerals.

Things to keep in mind! The gas drillers want to get leases signed for the least amount of expense to the drilling co. By doing this it increases their bonus. LAND-MEN are salesmen. REMEMBER they want you for the least amount of money with the least amount of restrictions to the drillers. Your neighborhood nor the safety of it nor your health and safety are not a priority to the drillers nor their land-men.

PLEASE if you are going to lease your minerals by ALL MEANS do not sign under preasure, take the lease and contact someone from your neighborhood association, Better yet tell the LAND-MEN (sales person) to work through your neighborhood association.
