AMENITIES/CHARACTER
The Fossil Park Neighborhood consists of a variety of home sizes and styles. These are new home and homes built back in the 1950s. A variety of small businesses border our neighborhood, including Sunrise Plaza, where the Sunrise Community Resource Center is located, Fire Station #7, the St. Petersburg North Branch Library and the Willis S. Johns Recreation Center.
Fossil Park FLML baseball has more than 600 participants ages 4-14 in its youth program. Gateway Mall is our northern most boundary.

CRIME WATCH
Fossil Park Crime Watch is one of the city's most active and successful.
CITIZENS ON PATROL (COP)
Fossil Park Citizens on Patrol consists of approximately 50 neighbors who patrol the neighborhood at different hours to report suspicious, criminal, or potentially dangerous activity.
SUNRISE COMMUNITY RESOURCE CENTER
The Sunrise Community Resource Center offers a variety of city information and serves the community as a police substation. It is staffed by volunteers and maintained entirely by community donations.
